Registrations are now being taken for the first ever National Ambulance Resilience Conference, which takes place at Silverstone Racetrack in Northampton, UK on 20 September 2012.
The conference has been organised by the National Ambulance Resilience Unit (NARU) and follows two highly successful previous conferences held at the ambulance service’s national annual exhibition and networking event, AMBITION 2012.
It is aimed at all ambulance personnel, local and national resilience & civil contingency professionals, wider NHS clinical staff and representatives from partner agencies, including fire and police.

This year’s conference takes place at Silverstone and will be held in the new Media Centre on the 20th September, right next door to the show’s exhibition hall. It will be chaired by the East of England Ambulance Service’s Head of Resilience Robert Flute and is expected to attract a variety of top speakers.
The cost of the conference is just £45 for public sector staff and £90 for private sector staff, which includes refreshments and delegate lunch. It will be a CPD accredited event.
The Emergency Planning Society are hosting their annual awards dinner at AMBITION 2012 and this will take place on the evening of the 19th September 2012 at the event hotel, Whittlebury Hall. Bookings for the dinner will shortly be able to be made separately on the Emergency Planning Society website.
